From Afros & Rizos to Naturally Us…

Afros & Rizos started in 2017, as one event that was geared towards having a save space for women to unapologetically be themselves.

In 2018, we held two events, one in The State University of New York College at Old Westbury and one in Brooklyn. with the ticket sales of both events we were able to launch our high school pilot events.

In 2019, we held a total of four events. three events were high school events and one was an adult event. We were able to work with schools in the bronx, queens and Manhattan and host over 200 students within three months. 

Via the success of Afros & Rizos, our founder realized that we were offering more than just hair tips at our events and decided that it was time to build a company that stood for everything she and Afros & Rizos stood for.

This is how the Naturally Us Collective was born!
